Welcome to my website!

I’m Albert Deak, a British artist with Transylvanian roots, dedicated to exploring the mysteries of the universe through color and form.

For me, art is a journey into the unknown, a meditation on existence. My style blends abstract expressionism, figurative elements, and surrealism, exploring cosmic, existential, and scientific themes. Whether working with canvas or digital media, my compositions evoke energy and infinity, inviting viewers to discover their own interpretation.

I have long lived and created in Great Britain, where I am a permanent resident. My artistic path has been shaped by prestigious studies in graphic arts and ceramics, as well as rich experiences in porcelain design, digital art, and canvas painting.

Inspired by visionary artists Kandinsky, Pollock, Richter, and Dali, I integrate art with science and philosophy. In my works, colors and forms are more than aesthetics – they become gateways to the universe, reflecting concepts of time, existence, and unknown dimensions.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Maureen McGrath
(Great Britain)

On Tuesday 23rd September I received an artwork from Albert Deak.

This piece - Galactic Vortex - is a smaller acrylic on canvas interpretation of one of Albert’s digital pieces which is available to view on his website.

I am delighted to receive this work which captures the continual shift between order and disorder in the cosmos.

Albert has created a beautiful piece of work that rewards regular viewing.

The colours used seem to draw from the vastness of the black background and at the same time move back into that vastness to disappear.

The work is subtly textured to convey the continual movement of light and energy through space.

Albert Deak has provided a Certificate of Authenticity to accompany the work.

I feel privileged to have this work from this emerging artist whose work is full of energy and creativity and who is surely destined for even greater recognition in the near future.

Albert’s website showcases the artwork that he has completed to date and much of this work represents different aspects of science interpreted through colour, texture and movement. They creatively combine the precision of science with the expression and interpretation of art driven by feelings and subjective interpretation. The site is well worth a visit.

Angela Li
Writer

This worldview positions Deak within a lineage of artists such as Kandinsky, Pollock, and Richter—not as an imitator, but as a fellow seeker. Like Kandinsky, he experiences synesthetic connections between color, music, and form, often allowing sound or silence to dictate the emotional cadence of his compositions. From Pollock, he drew inspiration for gestural spontaneity and compositional dynamism, adapting the “all-over” technique into a network of multiple focal points that guide the viewer’s eye like a cosmic map. From Richter, he absorbed the importance of ambiguity and perception, though his own approach diverges toward optimism and forward-looking metaphysics.

Despite these resonances, Deak has carved an identity that is deeply singular. His work is not anchored in trauma or disillusionment, but in the celebration of existence and the pursuit of transcendence. In pieces like Travelers from Other Worlds, he proposes not just a new artistic vision, but a spiritual realignment—urging viewers to reassess their relationship to life, nature, and the cosmos.

The ARTBOXY
Curator Team

Hi Albert,

thank you once again for presenting your artwork with us at ARTBOXY Paris at the Carrousel du Louvre.

Our curatorial team carefully reviewed the exhibited works during and after the event, observing how each piece shaped the exhibition’s overall atmosphere and how visitors responded.  As part of this process, we’ve prepared a personal reflection on your artwork – inspired by the same curatorial approach used during the exhibition.

During the Paris exhibition, your artwork "The Two Universes and Their Inner Music" captivated viewers with its dynamic interplay of color and form. The energetic human figure at the core of the composition masterfully reflects the boundless creativity of the human mind, intertwined with cosmic connectivity. Layered with vibrant colors, the chaotic background not only emphasizes the depth of existence but also invites contemplation about the complex relationships within the universe. The inclusion of symbolic elements, such as the violin, adds a tactile dimension to the visual experience, suggesting that existence is a symphony of interconnected energies. This lyrical quality resonated strongly with visitors, prompting reflection and engagement, as they were drawn into the painting's narrative of harmony between the cosmos and consciousness.

Your work contributed beautifully to the diversity and quality of the Paris show. Throughout the exhibition, artworks with strong conceptual clarity and authentic emotional expression — like yours — consistently drew attention from visitors. Many stopped to take photos, discuss the compositions, and engage deeply with the pieces shown on the ARTBOXY Screens.  This response confirmed how powerfully your art connects with viewers in a professional exhibition setting.

Across all exhibited works, our curators noticed several recurring strengths:

• Color and atmosphere – many participating artists used color with great sensitivity to convey emotion and light.
• Symbolism and storytelling – visitors were especially drawn to works that told a visual story or hinted at a deeper meaning.
• Technique and individuality – a strong sense of craftsmanship combined with authentic artistic voice made the exhibition exceptionally rich.

Your contribution helped shape that experience — thank you again for being part of it.

Warm regards,

The ARTBOXY Curator Team
